Python Job: Laboratorio de Bioinformática - Genómica - Bioinfo

CHIPSA Hospital is looking for an expert in genomics and/or bioinformatics to perform the analysis of genomic data generated from patients, working with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, cell biologists, and chemists.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of genomic data including public data repositories and those generated by massive sequencing (Illumina, MGI, Nanopore).
• Construction of datasets and modeling.
• Collaborative work with the cellular and clinical laboratory.
• Integration of genomic data with pathology, clinical and molecular data of patients.

Requirements:

• Education in genomics, bioinformatics, cell biology, molecular biology, biological systems, or related areas (Master's or Ph.D. desirable).
• Knowledge of metagenomics, transcriptomics, statistics. Data science: R, Python, etc.
• Experience in the biomedical area is valuable.
• Scientific publications (desirable).
• Ability to work in a team.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
